Director / Senior Manager – Food & Agribusiness (Accra/Nairobi)

About the role

Farrelly Mitchell is seeking a high‑calibre Director or Senior Manager to lead its Food & Agribusiness consulting practice in either Accra or Nairobi. The role offers senior market‑facing leadership, direct client responsibility and the chance to shape the firm’s growth across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior representative for the firm in West (Ghana) or East (Kenya) Africa, strengthening brand presence and building relationships with governments, investors, agribusinesses and development partners.
• Originate, develop and convert high‑value consulting opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline and leading proposal preparation, negotiation and commercial engagement.
• Lead complex, multi‑market consulting engagements, ensuring strategic, actionable and commercially grounded outputs while overseeing quality, timelines and financial performance.

Required profile

• Current senior manager or director level experience in a top‑tier consulting firm (Big 4, leading consultancy or equivalent).
• Proven track record of business development, client leadership and team development in the agribusiness or food systems sector.
• Strong ability to work independently, influence senior stakeholders and contribute to regional strategy.
