Driver II

About the role

The Rift Valley Technical Training Institute is seeking a reliable Driver II to operate its institutional vehicles. You will be responsible for safe transportation of staff, students, and materials while ensuring vehicle readiness and compliance with road safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive institute‑assigned vehicles to designated locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks on lubrication, fuel, tyres, water, and battery.
• Ensure all statutory safety items are in good order and complete required work tickets.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules and institute policies.

Required profile

• Form 4 (or equivalent) with a valid Class B, C, D1, D2 or D3 driving licence.
• Valid PSV licence and badge.
• At least five years of professional driving experience with a reputable organization.
• Basic first‑aid training; defensive‑driving certificate is a plus.
• Computer literacy.
• Kenyan citizen, aged 30‑45 years.
