DSTV Business Sales Representative

About the role

The DSTV Business Sales Representative will drive sales growth across the assigned territory in Kenya. The role demands a motivated, results‑oriented professional with strong B2B sales expertise and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Conduct market research to pinpoint potential clients in target sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts and participate in team meetings and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven B2B sales experience in the Kenyan market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan business landscape, especially in the Westlands region.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation, closing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Results‑driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective time management, organization, and the capacity to work under pressure.
