E-Picker – E‑Commerce Fulfillment

About the role

YP People Ltd is hiring detail‑oriented E‑Pickers to support a well‑established retail client across several locations in Kenya. You will be employed by YP People, deployed to the client’s store, and responsible for picking, checking and packing online orders to meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and scan online orders using handheld devices from designated store areas.
• Check and verify expiry dates and product quality at the time of picking.
• Meet the client’s picking accuracy, productivity and quality targets (KPIs).
• Pack orders, re‑verify expiry dates and perform quality control checks before sealing.
• Ensure fresh food items meet the client’s quality standards and customers’ expectations.
• Inspect packaging materials to confirm they meet the client’s packing specifications.
• Follow the client’s store rules, hygiene standards and YP People’s code of conduct while on site.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work at a steady pace and meet daily productivity targets.
• Comfortable using handheld devices or willing to be trained.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift for long periods.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food handling practices (advantageous).
• Honest, punctual and able to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Kiswahili.
• Previous retail, warehouse or order‑picking experience (advantageous).
• Minimum education: KCSE or equivalent.
