Ecosystem Lead – Jobtech Alliance

About the role

The Ecosystem Lead will steer the Jobtech Alliance’s strategy to strengthen an inclusive job‑tech ecosystem across Africa. Reporting to the Program Director, you will own ecosystem planning, partnership development, community engagement and campaign‑driven behaviour change, while overseeing the Community & Events Manager and Communications Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve and implement a continent‑wide ecosystem strategy aligned with the Alliance’s systems‑change model, translating it into annual KPIs and work plans.
• Lead DAWN’s ecosystem outcomes in Nigeria, ensuring activities, convenings and collaborations align with the project workplan.
• Build and run a systematic listening process with founders and ecosystem actors, capturing insights through 1:1s, roundtables and surveys.
• Maintain a pulse on job‑tech developments, tracking new business models, emerging players and sector shifts, and feed insights into strategy.
• Weave a high‑quality network by connecting founders, investors, funders, policymakers and service providers.
• Oversee community growth, geographic expansion, sub‑community launch and event delivery, including the Africa‑wide Jobtech Summit.
• Design and lead collective‑action campaigns to drive targeted behaviour change, defining objectives, coalitions, channels and success metrics.
