Electrical Engineer – Aveva E3D Specialist

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will develop, check and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial and manufacturing facilities, leveraging Aveva E3D for 3‑D modeling and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Use Aveva E3D to create 3‑D electrical designs, perform model coordination, generate elevation cuts, conduct design reviews and extract drawings.
• Prepare 2‑D electrical drawings in AutoCAD from E3D extracts, incorporating engineering input, field information and project standards.
• Design layouts for equipment, raceways, cable routing, junction boxes, lighting, grounding, control rooms, single‑line diagrams and motor‑control schematics.
• Review model content with Navisworks and E3D to identify interferences and support interdisciplinary coordination.
• Apply NFPA 70 / National Electrical Code requirements to all design work.
• Support drawing checks, redline incorporation, field walk‑downs, construction queries and as‑built updates.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with Aveva E3D for electrical design, model navigation, coordination and drawing extraction.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 / National Electrical Code as applied to industrial electrical design.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive electrical design experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical or power facilities.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate across disciplines and deliver accurate, constructible documentation.
