About the role
The Public Service Commission, through the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, is offering a 12‑month Electrical Engineering internship under the Affordable Housing Programme. The role supports housing development projects across Kenya and provides hands‑on experience in engineering and project marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Complete duties assigned by supervisors in line with the Affordable Housing Programme.
- Document skills acquired and contribute to marketing project sites nationwide.
- Participate in mentorship activities and undertake additional programme‑specific tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- Graduated no earlier than 2020.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Never participated in a similar internship programme.

- 12‑month non‑renewable internship.
- Stipend paid at a rate determined by the Government.
