Electrical Helper – Construction & Installations

About the role

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Helper to support construction and installation projects for fueling and charging stations across retail, commercial, industrial, and government sectors. The role involves hands‑on work with electrical systems in the petroleum industry and offers on‑the‑job training to advance technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical equipment and fixtures used in petroleum operations.
• Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers, pumps, dispensers, POS consoles, tank monitors, and lighting.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Verify proper operation of installed systems and advise management and customers on hazards and safe operation.
• Support estimators with material take‑off, cost calculations, and labor allowances.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years experience as an apprentice with an electrical company (journeyman card not required).
• Knowledge of electrician standards and electrical codes.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lb and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
