About the role
The Nakuru County Public Service Board is seeking a qualified Electrical Inspector to ensure that electrical installations and systems in public buildings and government quarters comply with safety standards and regulations. The role involves on‑site inspections, fault identification, and preparation of detailed reports.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain electric installations in public buildings and government quarters.
- Test and maintain electrical controls for fire‑detection equipment, cookers, water heaters, and other domestic appliances.
- Inspect and maintain electrical controls in power‑generating plants and machinery.
Required profile
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician Part III, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
