Electrician – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electrical equipment throughout the plant to ensure reliable production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on motors, control panels, switchgear, transformers, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery such as slurry pumps, spray dryers, mixers, and packaging lines.
• Replace and repair components including contactors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and wiring.
• Maintain, test, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems used in the powder‑making process.
• Install new electrical equipment, cabling, conduit, and distribution boards according to engineering drawings.
• Commission new machinery and hand over electrical systems to operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing, FMCG, or chemical production environment.
• Strong knowledge of single‑phase and three‑phase LV/MV electrical systems.
• Hands‑on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar) and SCADA systems.
