ETP Plant Supervisor

About the role

Keitt is seeking an experienced ETP Plant Supervisor to manage the Effluent Treatment Plant at its Avocado Oil Division in Kenol. The role focuses on ensuring the plant operates efficiently, meets environmental standards, and supports the company’s high‑quality food‑processing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant, ensuring compliance with NEMA and other environmental regulations.
• Monitor and control COD, BOD, TSS, and pH levels, adjusting processes as needed.
• Manage DAF systems, chemical dosing, biological treatment, sludge handling, and dewatering processes.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, blowers, and related equipment.
• Supervise ETP operators and contractors, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Prepare and submit accurate operational and compliance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field (degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience operating an industrial effluent or wastewater treatment plant, preferably in food processing, edible oils, fruit processing, dairy or beverage sectors.
• Strong knowledge of DAF systems, chemical dosing, biological treatment, sludge handling and dewatering.
• Understanding of COD, BOD, TSS, pH monitoring and control.
• Ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, blowers and related equipment.
• Computer literacy with solid report‑writing skills.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance and wastewater discharge requirements; NEMA experience is a plus.
