Face-to-Face Fundraiser

About the role

The Face‑to‑Face Fundraiser will engage the public at designated sites in Nairobi, delivering compelling narratives about Médecins Sans Frontières' humanitarian work and encouraging donations.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and engage members of the public in a warm, professional manner, delivering accurate information about MSF programmes and emergencies.
• Listen to prospective donors, answer questions, handle objections and invite them to make regular or single donations using approved tools.
• Capture and record donor information in line with MSF data‑protection protocols, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Refer unresolved donor enquiries, complaints or requests to the appropriate channels and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Work as part of a four‑person pilot team, attend training, follow the deployment schedule and report daily activity, sign‑ups and any incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Swahili; additional languages are an asset.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in sales, customer engagement, fundraising or community outreach.
