F&B Banquet Supervisor

About the role

The F&B Banquet Supervisor will lead the banquet service team at a 5‑star hotel, ensuring luxury standards, efficient operations, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the banquet waiter/waitress team, maintaining fully stocked and organized workstations.
• Monitor service sequences in real time, providing immediate feedback to achieve “Beautiful Performance” and revenue goals.
• Utilise suggestive selling techniques to promote high‑margin products and enhance guest experiences.
• Handle all food, beverage, and equipment with care to minimise waste and breakage.
• Enforce strict cash‑handling procedures and process orders through the MICROS POS system.
• Report and manage lost‑and‑found items according to standard operating procedures.
• Identify and rectify safety hazards in banquet areas promptly.
• Adapt to shift changes and event schedule demands while maintaining impeccable grooming and punctuality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an F&B supervisory role within a 5‑star hotel.
• Diploma or certificate in Food & Beverage or Sales.
• Excellent oral and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong up‑selling skills and techniques.
