About the role
One Acre Fund is seeking an exceptional supply chain professional to lead fertilizer procurement in Kenya. The associate will ensure cost‑efficient sourcing and reliable, on‑time delivery of fertilizer to support smallholder farmers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for fertilizer, from supplier selection to contract negotiation.
- Ensure cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate logistics to guarantee timely delivery to field locations.
- Drive execution excellence through data‑driven decision making.
- Manage and mentor a high‑performing procurement team.
- Execute procurement strategies that align with One Acre Fund’s mission.
Required profile
- Proven experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably in agricultural inputs.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Leadership capability to guide and develop a team.
- Commitment to delivering reliable, cost‑efficient solutions.
