Field Marketing Officer

About the role

M-KOPA is expanding its E‑Mobility division and seeks a Field Marketing Officer to lead sales and market penetration for electric motorbikes across Kenya. You will work on‑site in Nairobi, engaging directly with customers, partners and community leaders to drive adoption of clean, cost‑effective transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies and conduct field visits to promote and sell electric motorbikes.
• Generate and convert leads through referrals, partner networks and community events.
• Deliver product demonstrations and guide customers through the purchase process.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, local influencers and community groups.
• Support marketing campaigns by distributing materials and organising local events.
• Collect market data, customer feedback and competitor insights.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, conversion rates and market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or direct‑to‑consumer sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using mobile sales tools.
