About the role

The Field Sales Manager will lead sales activities for an assigned shop, recruiting, training and supporting a team of commission‑based agents to meet sales targets. This full‑time position reports to the Area Sales Manager and offers a base salary plus commission.

Key responsibilities

Recruit, train, motivate and mentor commission‑based sales agents.
Develop sales strategies and lead‑generation initiatives for the team.
Monitor daily agent performance and provide support to ensure active selling.
Report sales progress to the Area Sales Manager and coordinate stock availability with the shop administrator.
Track market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity, sharing insights with management.

Required profile

Minimum five years of experience in sales or micro‑finance with a strong record of achieving targets.
Experience working in rural areas is essential.
Proven ability to recruit and manage commission‑based sales agents.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and strategic planning skills.
A diploma or degree in a related field is an advantage.
