Field Sales Representative - Bakery Products

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Field Sales Representative in Mlolongo to drive sales growth for its bakery products. The role covers identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships and keeping products available in the assigned territory, with a salary of KShs 25,000-35,000.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and identify new customers such as wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and institutions.
• Promote bakery products, introduce new product lines and develop strategies to increase market penetration.
• Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, provide product information, pricing and offers, and handle complaints promptly.
• Receive and follow up on orders, monitor stock at outlets and recommend replenishment.
• Maintain sales records, customer databases and territory reports, and follow up on collections and credit limits.
• Monitor competitors, collect customer feedback and report market opportunities and trends to management.
• Ensure products are well displayed, fresh and properly merchandised, and support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in FMCG, preferably in bakery or food manufacturing.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of FMCG sales and distribution channels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently across a territory.
