Field Sales Representative – Rural Farmers (Kericho)

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will promote HomeBiogas solutions to smallholder farmers, creating awareness, generating leads, and closing sales. This role focuses on direct engagement in rural communities, delivering ethical, relationship‑driven selling to meet and exceed targets.

Key responsibilities

• Create product awareness through field visits, farmer groups, and local market activations.
• Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads within the assigned territory.
• Follow up with prospects and convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.
• Explain product value and financing options clearly to support farmer purchase decisions.
• Achieve and consistently exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Collect and submit accurate sales data, lead information, and field reports using provided tools.
• Represent HomeBiogas professionally, building trust and long‑term relationships in farming communities.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of B2C sales experience, preferably with smallholder farmers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling agricultural, clean energy, or asset‑based products is an advantage.
• Fluency in the local language.
