Field Sales Representative – Uasin Gishu

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will promote HomeBiogas products among smallholder farmers in the Uasin Gishu area. You will engage directly with farmers, generate leads, close sales, and help them adopt renewable energy solutions for waste management.

Key responsibilities

• Create product awareness through field visits, farmer groups, and local market activations.
• Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads within the assigned territory.
• Follow up with prospects and convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.
• Explain product value and financing options to support informed purchase decisions.
• Achieve and consistently exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Collect and submit accurate sales data, lead information, and field reports using provided tools.
• Represent HomeBiogas professionally while building long‑term relationships in farming communities.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of direct B2C sales experience, preferably with smallholder farmers.
• Minimum 1 year of experience selling agricultural or renewable‑energy products to rural communities.
• Fluency in the local language.
