Finance and Admin Officer – ALIGN Project

About the role

The Finance and Admin Officer will support the ALIGN initiative, a multi‑country project improving adolescent health and nutrition. Working under the Project Manager at The Youth Café, the role combines financial oversight with administrative coordination across the consortium and partner organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure timely financial reporting to donors and consortium partners.
• Oversee grant administration, including sub‑grant disbursements, compliance checks, and fiduciary monitoring.
• Coordinate procurement processes, maintain inventory records, and support logistics for field activities.
• Provide administrative support such as travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and documentation management.
• Collaborate with Grants, Reporting and Compliance Officer, Logistics and Procurement Officer, and partner CSOs/YLOs to ensure smooth project implementation.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in grant management, financial reporting, and compliance within international development projects.
• Strong understanding of fiduciary standards and procurement regulations.
• Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally to project countries.
