Finance Coordinator

About the role

The Finance Coordinator supports the Store Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting and overseeing the store stock‑take process. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial controls, payroll accuracy, and budget compliance within a hypermarket environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Financial Controller in preparing monthly P&L, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet reports.
• Support internal audits and enforce compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Review and validate payroll to guarantee accuracy and timely processing.
• Oversee stock‑control activities, including stock counts, shrinkage analysis and receiving processes.
• Contribute to financial planning activities such as forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Analyse store and departmental performance to aid decision‑making.
• Monitor store budgets, flagging variances and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Implement audit recommendations and maintain documentation throughout the stock‑take validation stage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Commerce.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.
