Finance Officer

About the role

The Partnership Agency is hiring a Finance Officer through its client to manage the organization's financial operations. The role ensures accuracy in accounting and financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards, supporting budgeting, financial analysis, reconciliations and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, receipts and payments
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance and report variances to management
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, keeping good relations with suppliers and customers
• Help prepare documents and reports for internal and external audits
• Ensure tax obligations such as VAT and corporate tax are met on time
• Carry out financial analysis, including variance, trend and profitability analysis
• Monitor expenditure against the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and statutory filings
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, and provide financial insights to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Professional certification (CPA)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders
