Financial Controller – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is looking for a results‑oriented Financial Controller to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Business Controller, you will drive plant productivity and financial performance through planning, cost management, product costing, inventory control and strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive the plant budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely collection of budget information.
• Analyse operating costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities and lead cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate product costing in SAP, work with the Plant Manager on pricing strategies and profitability.
• Ensure effective internal controls across revenue, expenditure and inventory processes, safeguarding assets.
• Oversee monthly stocktaking, reconciliation and investigation of inventory variances across sites and depots.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA(K) or ACCA.
• Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with inventory and production process exposure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP CO, MM and PP modules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (Controlling, Materials Management, Production Planning).
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical and cost‑management capabilities.
