Firefighter

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Firefighter to protect lives and property by responding to fires, vehicle accidents, natural disasters, and hazardous‑material incidents. The role involves rapid deployment, rescue operations, and fire suppression in a variety of emergency scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Perform search, rescue, and firefighting operations for fires, accidents, floods, bomb incidents, and dangerous substance spills.
• Operate emergency response vehicles, hand and power tools, ladders, hoses, pumps, foam generators, and specialized nozzles.
• Connect hoses to hydrants and pump apparatus, and manage water‑charged hose lines of various sizes.
• Conduct salvage and overhaul operations to minimize damage.
• Participate in station drills, emergency‑procedure training, and hazardous‑materials response.
• Maintain and operate fire‑service equipment, including pumps, foam generators, boom and ground‑sweep nozzles.
• Respond to hazardous‑materials emergencies in accordance with established requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum one (1) year of firefighting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as IFSAC, DoD, Pro‑Board Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Telecommunicator I/II.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate fire‑service vehicles.
• Current passport valid for at least one year and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance.
• Physical capability to perform interior structural firefighting and work in remote, adverse conditions.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow emergency procedures.
