Fleet Administrator

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Fleet Administrator to manage its vehicle operations in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing vehicle records, driver scheduling, maintenance coordination, cost monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate vehicle records and manage driver schedules and dispatch.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, servicing and repairs for the fleet.
• Handle driving licence procedures and other vehicle documentation.
• Monitor and review vehicle‑related expenses such as fuel, tolls, maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with insurance companies and repair service providers.
• Verify authenticity of vehicle documents and ensure compliance with Kenyan traffic regulations.
• Support cost‑control initiatives while protecting company interests.

Required profile

• Familiarity with Kenyan government procedures, driving licence processes and local traffic regulations.
• Ability to verify authenticity of vehicle‑related documents.
• Strong organisational, coordination and cost‑control skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail‑oriented, responsible approach.
• Experience in fleet or vehicle management is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for maintaining records.
