Food and Beverage Cashier

About the role

A hotel group is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Food & Beverage Cashier with previous hotel experience. The role covers cashiering duties, accurate financial records, support for accounts receivable and help with reconciliations across the group's establishments. The position is based in Naivasha, Kenya, with immediate availability.

Key responsibilities

• Handle F&B cashiering, billing, receipts and payment processing
• Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile collections against recorded transactions
• Maintain accurate debtor records, invoices, payment details and outstanding balances
• Update and reconcile debtor databases across all branches, and prepare debtor statements
• Follow up internally on missing invoices, payment records and discrepancies
• Assist with general accounting duties, data entry, filing and financial reporting
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of financial records

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in hotel cashiering, preferably in Food & Beverage
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
• Strong numerical, organisational and record-keeping skills
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to relocate to Naivasha
