Forward Deployed Engineer – AI & Healthcare

About the role

TriFetch is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clinics and hospitals, turning operational needs into functional prototypes. You will bridge product, engineering, and healthcare customers, ensuring AI agents run reliably and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the integration between the Tauri/Rust desktop client and the Python cloud backend, focusing on performance and low latency.
• Design scalable infrastructure for concurrent AI agents, including browser automation, computer use, and voice orchestration.
• Own cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, establishing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, deployment strategies, and robust monitoring.
• Implement rigorous security and compliance measures to meet HIPAA and SOC‑2 requirements for handling patient EMRs.

Required profile

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of designing and scaling complex cloud architectures.
• Deep production‑level experience building robust Python back‑ends and APIs.
• Willingness to work with Rust and understand desktop‑application interactions with OS resources.
• Strong security mindset, capable of managing secrets and protecting sensitive data.
• Pragmatic builder who balances rapid delivery with long‑term quality and enjoys sharing knowledge.
