Freelance Graphic Designer – On‑site Role

About the role

JUMAZA SL, a Spain‑based company known for innovative design solutions, is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join its team on‑site in Ukunda Ward. This full‑time position will involve creating compelling visual concepts, designing logos, and developing comprehensive branding materials that align with client objectives. The role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and produce original visual designs, including logos, brand guidelines, and marketing collateral.
• Design layouts for print and digital media, selecting appropriate typography and imagery.
• Prepare and deliver polished presentations to showcase design proposals to clients.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure design alignment with brand strategy.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently, prioritising tasks to meet agreed timelines.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for all design assets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle several projects at once.
• Exceptional creativity, strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and interacting with clients.
• Previous experience in a graphic design role is a plus.
• Degree or formal training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design software.
• Solid understanding of graphic design principles, typography, colour theory and layout composition.
• Experience creating logos, branding systems and visual identity packages.
