Front Office Cashier – Mombasa

About the role

We are looking for a Front Office Cashier to join our team at a busy amusement park in Mombasa. The role involves handling ticket sales, cash transactions and providing friendly assistance to guests throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, card and mobile‑money (M‑Pay) payments for park entry passes, combo deals and special packages using the POS system.
• Welcome visitors, answer questions about pricing, safety rules, schedules and locker rentals.
• Reconcile daily cash float, issue receipts and balance registers at the end of each shift.
• Check tickets at entry points, issue wristbands and locker keys, and help maintain smooth traffic flow during peak periods.
• Resolve guest inquiries or ticketing discrepancies professionally, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised front‑desk workstation stocked with promotional material and operational supplies.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Front Office Operations, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on cashiering, front‑desk or customer‑service experience, preferably in hospitality or amusement parks.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail for cash handling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, positive demeanor.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak vacation seasons.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) software.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
