Fulfilment Clerk (Warehouse Management System)

About the role

The Fulfilment Clerk will coordinate outbound order fulfilment using the HighJump Warehouse Management System, ensuring orders are accurately grouped, picked, staged and dispatched on time. The role links warehouse operations, transport, inventory and customer service to deliver efficient shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and prioritize customer orders in HighJump WMS; validate readiness and release orders.
• Create Load IDs, pool orders into vehicle loads and optimise based on route, capacity and schedule.
• Release orders to RF guns, monitor picking completion and resolve picking exceptions.
• Assign pickers through WMS based on order size, zones and workload; rebalance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate staging activities, verify picked pallets and ensure they are ready for loading.
• Generate and print pallet labels with load ID, customer, vehicle, route, dock number and barcode.
• Allocate loading docks, communicate vehicle and driver details and loading schedule to teams.
• Maintain accurate real‑time WMS transactions for load creation, picker assignment, staging and dispatch readiness.
• Investigate and resolve fulfilment, staging, labelling, vehicle and WMS exceptions; escalate when required.
• Prepare daily fulfilment reports and communicate with Warehouse, Transport, Inventory, Security, Customer Service and Dispatch teams.

Required profile

• Diploma (field not fully specified) – entry level.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in warehouse or fulfilment operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced outbound logistics environment.
