Full-Time Driver - Nairobi

About the role

A client of the recruiter is looking for a reliable, responsible and professional driver to support its daily transportation and operational needs. The driver ensures safe and timely transport, proper vehicle care and general support as assigned, with room for career growth and a possible salary increase as responsibilities grow. The position is full-time, based on Ngong Road, Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, clients, documents and other items as assigned
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of items to designated locations
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
• Keep accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel consumption, mileage and maintenance
• Ensure the vehicle has valid documentation and complies with traffic regulations
• Assist with errands and other operational duties as assigned
• Follow road safety regulations, company procedures and professional standards

Required profile

• Valid Kenyan driving licence appropriate for the vehicle
• Previous driving experience; company or business driving experience is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and surrounding areas
• Demonstrated honesty, reliability, punctuality and professionalism
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the role develops

The stated salary is KES 15,000 per month.
