Full-time Paediatrician

About the role

Diani Beach Hospital is seeking a qualified paediatrician to join its clinical team on a full‑time basis. The role is based on‑site in Westlands, Kenya, and involves delivering comprehensive medical care to children of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and follow‑up paediatric patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine health examinations, growth monitoring and immunisation programmes.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency response as required.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards in line with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Teeth Council regulations.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree and relevant postgraduate specialist qualification in paediatrics.
• Valid registration and current practising licence with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Teeth Council (KMPDC).
• Demonstrated clinical competence, professionalism and ethical practice.
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient‑care skills.
