Funeral Home Driver (3 Positions Available)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring three drivers for a funeral home based in Kabati, Murang'a County. This is a full-time position within the funeral services industry, paid KShs 30,000.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport the deceased, bereaved families, staff and funeral equipment as scheduled, ensuring timely arrival and departure for funerals, hospital transfers and related assignments.
• Plan efficient travel routes while following traffic laws and company procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean and roadworthy, and monitor fuel levels, service schedules and maintenance records.
• Assist with loading and unloading of caskets and funeral equipment, and support the funeral team during burials, church services and memorial events.
• Show empathy, compassion and professionalism when dealing with bereaved families, and represent the funeral home respectfully.
• Follow traffic regulations and safety policies, practice defensive driving, and report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Maintain vehicle logbooks, mileage records, fuel usage and trip reports, and submit required documents on time.
• Keep client details and funeral arrangements confidential and handle assignments with integrity.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid Kenyan driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to road safety.
• Compassionate, respectful and professional when serving bereaved families.
• High level of integrity, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
