General Manager - Restaurant & Padel Sports

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management firm operating in the East African region. On behalf of its client, it is recruiting a General Manager in Kenya to oversee the overall operations of a restaurant and padel sports activities. The role covers high-quality customer service, efficient daily operations, financial performance and the integration of hospitality and sports offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fine dining restaurant, beer garden and padel sports facilities, including inventory, health, safety and hygiene standards and compliance with SOPs.
• Manage budgets, revenue targets and cost control; oversee cash flow, sales reports and forecasts, and prepare a monthly financial report for the Directors.
• Maintain a premium guest experience, handle VIP relations and complaints, and work with chefs, bartenders and service teams.
• Recruit, train and manage staff, hold regular briefings with department heads and lead business planning.
• Position the restaurant for more guests and event bookings, plan events, promotions and themed experiences, and sell organic breads, sauces and wines to individuals, corporates and retailers.
• Run padel courts, tournaments and leagues, manage the play-tomic platform and merchandise shop, and secure high-end sponsorships.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations and keep accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven managerial experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel or sports facility.
