General Worker - Nyero

About the role

The General Worker supports day-to-day production, warehouse and operational activities at a beverage manufacturing site in Nyero. The role covers handling materials, keeping the area clean, supporting production processes, loading and offloading products, and complying with company safety and quality standards. The position reports to the QSSK Key Accounts Executive/Administrator.

Key responsibilities

• Production support: assist in the production, inspection, packaging and palletizing of beverages; sort, pack, label and palletize finished products; supply production lines with materials and packaging; remove defective products and report quality concerns; support machine operators.
• Warehouse and logistics: load and offload raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods; arrange products in designated storage areas; assist with stock movement and inventory counts; handle products carefully to minimise damage and wastage.
• Housekeeping: maintain cleanliness and order in production and warehouse areas; clean equipment, tools and workstations; dispose of waste according to company procedures; comply with hygiene standards.
• Safety and compliance: follow company safety policies, use PPE, report unsafe conditions and incidents, and take part in safety training and toolbox meetings.

Required profile

• KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, FMCG or factory operations is an added advantage.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
