Graphic Designer

About the role

DIB Bank Kenya, a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank, is recruiting an experienced Graphic Designer who gives visual form to the DIB Kenya brand. The role covers all visual output, from social media graphics and campaign assets to Board presentations, event branding and branch materials, acting as a creative partner to the Marketing, Brand and Communications team.

Key responsibilities

• Create marketing campaign assets including social media graphics, digital banners, email templates, out-of-home and print advertising, and Islamic calendar campaign visuals
• Maintain the brand identity system, brand asset library and quality control of externally produced design work
• Design social media content, email templates and website visuals, and support motion graphics
• Design corporate materials, internal communications, customer-facing collateral, signage and event branding, including pop-up booths and exhibition stands
• Manage the photography and image library and coordinate external photographers and print vendors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Art or a related discipline; other design certification preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of commercial graphic design experience with a portfolio covering social media, print campaigns, corporate presentations and event collateral
• Experience producing print-ready artwork and managing it through print vendors; experience in banking or corporate design and Islamic or culturally sensitive design is preferred
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent briefs, with strong self-management and attention to detail

Required skills

• Full Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Microsoft Office design proficiency (PowerPoint, Word)
• Digital design specifications for social media, web and email; motion graphics and animation preferred
• Adobe Certified Professional certification preferred
