GRC Implementation Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced GRC Implementation Consultant to lead the deployment, configuration, and rollout of the Diligent GRC platform for our clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders, audit, risk, compliance, IT teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of governance, risk, audit, compliance, and policy management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of the Diligent GRC platform, including requirement gathering, workflow configuration, and user role setup.
• Coordinate data migration, validation, and testing activities, and support integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Deliver comprehensive training for administrators and end‑users, and develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as business requirements, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, and implementation reports.
• Facilitate workshops with GRC stakeholders, translate business needs into functional specifications, and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure clear communication throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Internal Audit, CIA, CPA, CISA, or IIA.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an internal audit role.
• Kenyan citizenship.
• Diligent certification (desirable).
• Hands‑on exposure to ACL, Galvanize or Diligent products (desirable).
• Training/facilitation experience (desirable).
