Group Systems Manager – Nairobi

About the role

The Group Systems Manager will own the stable operation, administration and continuous improvement of ERPNext and other enterprise applications across Victory Farms’ multi‑site operations in Kenya, Rwanda and other countries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day operation, user support and administration of ERPNext and related systems.
• Identify, prototype and scale ERPNext enhancements that reduce manual work, improve control and enable faster operational decisions.
• Define and manage issue, service‑request and change‑request processes, including testing, approvals and documentation.
• Partner with finance directors and business owners to translate requirements into practical system improvements and strengthen access controls, segregation of duties and audit trails.
• Coordinate integrations with platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI and Aqua while preserving clear system ownership.
• Lead, coach and coordinate the Systems and IT team, establish policies and provide monthly reporting on platform health, security risks and budget.

Required profile

• 7–10 years experience delivering enterprise systems, with at least 3 years leading teams or multi‑site delivery.
• Proven track record digitising manual operational workflows for frontline users in agriculture, food production or similar sectors.
• Experience managing external implementation partners and overseeing vendor, license and budget management.
• Willingness to work regularly from operational sites and travel across the Group’s countries.

Required skills

• ERPNext (or Frappe) implementation and improvement.
• Relational databases, APIs and integration patterns.
• Snowflake and Power BI integration experience.
• Offline‑capable data capture for field, production or logistics operations.
