Hardware Field Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for energetic Hardware Field Sales Executives to drive the growth of our construction and building‑materials portfolio across Nairobi and surrounding areas. You will be the face of the company, engaging directly with hardware stores, garages, construction firms and auto‑repair shops.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients through cold calls, walk‑ins and scheduled visits.
• Demonstrate tools and machinery, provide technical advice and after‑sales support.
• Negotiate pricing, prepare quotations and close sales deals.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts, handling follow‑ups, complaints and upselling.
• Plan daily routes, record visits and feedback in CRM or reporting tools.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and submit regular performance reports.
• Coordinate with logistics, inventory, finance and marketing teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 2 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• CRM usage for tracking leads and customer interactions.
