About the role

The Head of Agency will provide day‑to‑day leadership for a well‑established real‑estate agency in Nairobi. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will drive operational excellence, build a high‑performing agent team, and steer the business into its next growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all agency operations, ensuring performance, service delivery, and execution of the business plan.
• Implement structured workflows for listings, viewings, offers, and transaction closures.
• Maintain the agency’s reputation for trust, transparency, and compliance with EARB regulations.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain an incentive‑based agent team, setting sales targets and coaching for performance improvement.
• Design and manage commission and incentive structures to attract top agents.
• Develop and execute business‑development strategies targeting developers, landlords, corporate buyers, and diaspora clients.
• Leverage the agency’s lead pipeline from its architectural partnership to generate sales, rental, and management mandates.
• Promote the adoption of AI‑assisted tools and modern workflows to boost productivity and client experience.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a real‑estate or property services environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, motivate, and retain high‑performing sales teams.
• Excellent client‑care orientation and a reputation for integrity and transparency.
• Deep understanding of Kenyan real‑estate regulations and EARB compliance requirements.
