Head of Impact and Strategy Performance

About the role

Girls Not Brides is seeking a senior leader to head its Impact and Strategy Performance function. The role will guide the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) agenda, ensuring the organisation can demonstrate progress against its results framework and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Impact team within the Learning, Evidence and Impact Directorate.
• Design, implement and continuously improve MEAL systems, tools and processes.
• Oversee data collection, analysis and reporting to produce credible evidence of impact.
• Collaborate with programme, fundraising and communications teams to align measurement with strategic priorities.
• Develop compelling impact narratives for funders, partners and external audiences.
• Foster a culture of learning, accountability and adaptation across the organisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in MEAL, impact measurement and strategy performance within an international NGO or similar setting.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Strong written communication skills and experience communicating impact to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative, inclusive leadership style and commitment to the mission of ending child marriage.
