Head of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results‑driven Head of Operations to lead and oversee the organization’s operational functions, aligning them with the company’s vision and growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Lead day‑to‑day business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity and service excellence.
• Design, implement and continuously improve operational processes, workflows and performance standards.
• Monitor key operational metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives, process optimisation, automation and cost‑efficiency programmes.
• Collaborate with department leaders to align operational activities with business goals and customer expectations.
• Manage resource planning, workforce allocation, budgeting and operational forecasting.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Lead change management, organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality standards and operational controls.
• Develop and mentor managers and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Support strategic planning, expansion initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Prepare executive reports, operational reviews and business performance updates for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, business management, supply chain, logistics or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of operational strategy, process improvement and organisational performance management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing large‑scale operational functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, resource planning and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field; MBA or relevant leadership qualifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Familiarity with business systems and ERP platforms.
• Experience with data analytics and operational reporting tools.
