Head of Supply Chain

About the role

The Head of Supply Chain will lead Victory Farms' end‑to‑end logistics, procurement and import operations across Kenya. Reporting to the Managing Director, Kenya, this senior leader will ensure fresh fish, feed and all materials move efficiently while maintaining cold‑chain integrity and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily distribution of fresh fish nationwide, managing fleet strategy, route planning and 3PL contracts.
• Oversee inbound feed logistics, imports and all material flows to farm sites, ensuring no stock‑outs.
• Manage warehousing, inventory accuracy, GRN discipline and FEFO/FIFO controls for feed, packaging and consumables.
• Build and lead the Kenya procurement team, own local‑for‑local sourcing, P2P discipline and group framework agreements.
• Own the full import and customs process, handling documentation, HS classification, duty calculation and clearance through KRA iCMS.
• Drive supply planning, KPI monitoring (OTIF, cost per kg, stock accuracy) and cost‑reduction programmes.
• Lead, coach and develop a multi‑site team, championing ERP adoption and data quality.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive supply chain experience in Kenya/East Africa, with at least 4 years leading procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Background in high‑volume, fast‑moving product businesses (FMCG, food & beverage, dairy, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with perishables and cold‑chain distribution.
• Deep expertise in imports, customs clearance, HS classification and KRA processes.
• Proven track record of building and up‑skilling multi‑site teams.
