Housekeeper – Ngong Road Apartments

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for apartments along Ngong Road. The role covers cleaning, hygiene and quality standards, apartment preparation and resident service, with a stated salary of KShs 48,000 to 50,000.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain apartments, common areas, kitchens and bathrooms to high standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.
• Follow housekeeping, hygiene and sanitation procedures, inspect rooms and facilities and handle cleaning products, equipment and linen properly.
• Prepare apartments for new residents or guests and report maintenance issues, damages, missing items or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages or replenishment needs.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and priorities with other housekeeping and property staff, supporting colleagues during busy periods.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests, respond promptly to requests and keep their privacy and belongings confidential.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Housekeeping Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Housekeeper, preferably in apartments or residential properties.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping standards, procedures and routines.
• Excellent attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
