HR Product Manager – Kenya

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Product Manager to own the growth and subscription performance of Baggins HR in Kenya. This is an individual contributor role with full remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire organisations needing HR management and workforce automation solutions.
• Develop and execute product growth and customer acquisition strategies for the assigned market.
• Promote Baggins HR through professional HR networks, employer associations, recruitment communities and strategic partnerships.
• Present and demonstrate the platform’s recruitment, employee management, attendance, leave and payroll capabilities.
• Convert trial users and prospects into paying subscribers and maintain customer relationships to encourage renewals.
• Monitor verified subscription revenue, acquisition, retention and market performance, keeping accurate records of all activities.

Required profile

• Professional experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, payroll administration or related sectors.
• Practical experience in business development, SaaS subscriptions or commercial growth within the HR sector.
• Established professional relationships within HR or recruitment communities, or ability to develop them independently.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills with HR directors, recruitment managers and business owners.
• Ability to independently manage a commercial pipeline without a supporting sales team.

• Probation period of 30 days with performance‑based assessment.
• Upon confirmation: fixed monthly salary of USD 700 plus a USD 100 facilitation allowance (total USD 800).
