About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Human Resources Manager to support a global staffing and recruiting client on a remote basis. The role focuses on answering employee questions, maintaining confidential HR records, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR documentation.
• Assist with onboarding new hires and off‑boarding departing staff.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.
• Collaborate with management to address workplace issues and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a human‑resources support role.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
• Familiarity with HR information systems or databases (preferred).
