IGCSE Geography and History Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a qualified IGCSE Geography and History Teacher to deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to secondary students online. This full‑time, remote position focuses on the Cambridge British curriculum and aims to foster deep understanding of world and American history as well as geographic concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver IGCSE Geography and History lessons in a virtual classroom.
• Create and distribute learning materials, assignments and assessments.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on coursework and monitor student progress.
• Support diverse learning needs and adapt instruction for varied backgrounds.
• Participate in curriculum review and collaborate with colleagues to uphold academic standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student achievement.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification or degree in History, Geography, Education or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE or Cambridge curriculum, preferably in an online or blended setting.
• Strong knowledge of World History, American History and geographic concepts.
• Commitment to inclusive, student‑centered teaching practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with learning management systems.
• Experience using digital assessment tools.
