Imports & Export Trainee – Logistics Internship

About the role

This internship provides hands‑on support to the Imports & Exports Department, focusing on data entry, documentation, and shipment tracking. You will work closely with senior staff to learn customs clearance processes and international trade operations.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update import/export data in the CMS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare, organize, and verify import/export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, IDFs, customs entries, and permits.
• Cross‑check product details, HS codes, and tax rates against source documents.
• Assist with routine customs‑clearance activities and follow up on pending documentation.
• Maintain daily shipment tracking records and support the preparation of regular reports.
• Support general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and audit document retrieval.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about logistics and international trade.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify information against supporting documents.
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality of company, supplier, and customs data.
• Willingness to follow instructions, escalate issues, and perform additional duties as assigned.
