About the role

The State Department for Housing and Urban Development in Kenya is offering a cohort of internship positions under the Affordable Housing Programme. The programme aims to equip young professionals with practical experience in various construction‑related fields while supporting national socio‑economic development.

Key responsibilities

Complete duties assigned by supervisors across the Affordable Housing and marketing project sites.
Document skills acquired during the deployment.
Participate actively in mentorship activities and any additional programme responsibilities.

Required profile

Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in the relevant professional area from a recognized university.
Graduated no earlier than 2020.
Proficient computer skills.
Have not previously benefited from a similar programme.

What we offer

Monthly stipend of 20,000 – 25,000 KES.
Certificate of completion awarded by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.
