Inventory Assistant

About the role

Dot Glasses Kenya is looking for an Inventory Assistant to manage its company store efficiently and accurately, ensuring products are received, stored, packed and dispatched correctly. The role supports inventory accuracy, timely customer deliveries and the organization and cleanliness of the store. The position is full-time in Nairobi, with a gross salary of Kshs 30,000 - 40,000.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the store in an organized, clean and safe way, with proper shelving, labelling and product arrangement.
• Receive, inspect and document incoming goods against purchase orders and quality standards.
• Keep physical and digital store records, including real-time updates in Zoho Inventory, and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Report damaged, defective or expired goods.
• Pack products according to client orders, prepare dispatch documentation and coordinate with logistics partners for timely delivery.
• Assist in picking products for sales orders.
• Maintain store security and report suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with sales and account management, and suggest improvements to store processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper, store assistant or inventory assistant.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in inventory management software; experience with Zoho Inventory is a significant advantage.
